UNS S31700

317L Stainless was developed as an upgrade to 316L Stainless with increased nickel and molybdenum content. Historically, it was used in flue gas desulfurization. 317L Stainless fasteners are used in applications utilizing recycled water such as condensers in power generation and in paper pulp mills. Other common usages are in the food and beverage industries.
