Specifications
- Plate: ASTM A240, ASME A240
AL6XN is a super-austenitic alloy, the most abundant element being iron. It is the most popular of the 6% molybdenum alloys. Common usages are in the food processing, pharmaceutical and biotech industries. In most environments, it shows superior corrosion resistance when compared to duplex alloys. Due to the lower nickel content, AL6XN fasteners are generally more economical than the high nickel alloy fasteners.
