Titanium Grade 5, also known as Ti-6Al-4V, is a popular titanium alloy appreciated for its excellent strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and biocompatibility. Composed of titanium, aluminum, and vanadium, Grade 5 titanium exhibits superb mechanical properties, making it suitable for a wide range of applications across various industries.

Its combination of strength and low density makes it particularly well-suited for aerospace components, such as aircraft structural components, engine parts, and aircraft frames. Additionally, Grade 5 titanium finds applications in marine environments due to its resistance to corrosion in seawater. It is also commonly used in medical implants, sports equipment, and automotive components where lightweight, high-strength materials are required.
